1. GEN 11 is from a classic 1960s British musical

The titular flying car is a vintage racing motor inspired by Count Louis Zborowski’s aero-engined car from the 1920s. Six cars were made for the film, with one roadworthy vehicle registered with the GEN 11 plate.
2. BEATNGU is a pun from a 2000s horror

The number plate is on a 1941 Chevy COE that’s looking a little worse for wear. In the first Jeepers Creepers film, the driver harasses the two protagonists in the truck whilst blaring the horrible horn.
The truck also makes an appearance in Jeepers Creepers 3 that follows on from the first film. A few more of its gruesome features are shown off including protective bulletproof glass and booby traps.

In the film, it was bought by Ray Stantz, Aykroyd’s character for $4,800 thanks to its long list of required repairs: "it needs suspension work and shocks, brakes, brake pads, lining, steering box, transmission, rear end... maybe new rings, also mufflers, a little wiring…”.
