Vauxhall Zafira Tourer Named Leading MPV

VAUXHALL ZAFIRA TOURER NAMED AS LEADING MPV AT WHAT CAR? AWARDS

Vauxhall’s Zafira Tourer has been recognised as the Best MPV for less than £20,000 at the 2018 What Car? Car of the Year Awards.

The Zafira Tourer 1.4-litre 140PS Turbo Design variant secured the award, making it the third honour Vauxhall has picked up this year already.

“The Zafira Tourer is spacious and offers staggering value-for-money,” said Steve Huntingford, What Car? Editor. “It is better to drive than its key rivals and gets a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.”

Offering exceptional versatility, optimum comfort and user-friendly connectivity, the Zafira Tourer has proven to be a very popular choice among families, which helped it top the large MPV segment last year. Vauxhall’s Flex7 seating system allows owners to strike the required balance of seating comfort and storage capacity, which can easily be reconfigured from journey to journey.

“We’re delighted the Zafira Tourer has been recognised by What Car? at its annual awards,” said Stuart Harris, Vauxhall’s Head of Carline Brand. “The Zafira Tourer is a very strong competitor in the MPV segment, and this award highlights that, reinforcing its position as roomy, safe, well-equipped and affordable.”

The category win at the What Car? Car of the Year Awards is Vauxhall’s third award of 2018, after the new Insignia was recognised at the Company Car Today CCT100 and the 4x4 magazine awards earlier this month.
