MINI Maintenance - MOT

No one knows your MINI like us.

Our technicians at MINI know your car inside and out. They know every nut and bolt, curve and angle so who better to keep your vehicle performing at its best, making sure your MINI is ready for any adventure.

What is an MOT and Why do I need one?

An MOT is an in-depth examination of your car. To keep your car performing at its peak and to avoid any unseen issues, you’ll need to book your MINI in for an MOT once a year. Your MOT will be undertaken by specialised MINI-trained technicians using state of the art diagnostic equipment to give your car the most thorough inspection possible.

If you own a new MINI, you should book your car in for an MOT at the end of the first three years, after that you’ll be required to book your car in every year.

The standard MOT inspection consists of checking over 150 safety and emissions related systems, including lights, steering, brakes and suspension. This not only means your MINI meets all legal requirements but ensures it’s always ready when you are.

Does my MOT have to be done by Peter Vardy MINI?

No, not at all. There's no requirement for you to bring your car back to any MINI dealership to have an MOT carried out.

No one knows your MINI and will be able to look after it quite like we will though. Our specialist technicians have state of the art diagnostic equipment and will only use Genuine MINI parts to undertake any repairs, ensuring the integrity of your vehicle is maintained.
